Biography:
Father Batschewski was born in 1837. He was ordained 8 April 1861. He served as vicar of the Kamenka Parish from 1859 to 1868, and as its priest 1868 to 1872. He led the effort to construct the cathedral in Saratov.

St. Klement's Roman Catholic Cathedral on Nemyetskaya (German) Street in Saratov. This building still exists (2017), but is used as a movie theatre.
