Father Adam Bellendir was born in 1889 in Köhler.
Father Bellendir studied theology at the Catholic Seminary in Saratov. He was ordained in 1913.
He began his service in Köhler. In 1914, he became the parish administrator in Schuck and served there until 1930. On 10 January 1930 he was arrested along with his father at the Polish border and sent to the Butyrka prison in Moscow where he was accused of being involved in a conspiracy of the Volga German clergy. On 20 April 1931, he was sentenced to 10 years in a concentration camp and was sent to the Solovetsky Islands. On 9 October 1937, he was convicted again and was sentenced to death by a secret police tribunal.
He was executed on 3 November 1937 in the Solovetsky prison.
