The Wolgadeutsche.ru website reports that Father Joseph Jakubovsky was a member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). However, this is doubtful since his enire service in Russia was following the eviction of the Jesuits from Russia in 1820.
Father Jakubovsky served the following parishes:
Seelmann (1828-1836)
Mariental (1836-1838)
Schuck (1838-after 1856)
