Biography: 

Father Nikolaus Maier studied theology at the Saratov Roman Catholic Seminary. He was ordained 28 October 1901.

He served the following Roman Catholic parishes: Marienfeld from 1901 to 1905; Husaren from 1902 to 1903; Ober-Monjou from 1903 to 1905; Köhler from 1905 to 1913; and Pfeifer from 1914 to 1918.
