Biography
Father Johann Baptist Richard was born 16 April 1729. He died 2 October 1812 in Saratov. Some sources spell his surname as Rischar.
He was ordained 20 October 1749 as a member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and served the Catholic parish in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt from March 1803 until 19 April 1812.
