The Rev. Adalberg Hugo Willigrode, son of pastor Paul Gerhard Adalbert Willigerode & Alice Wellmann, was born 11 October 1883 in Testama, Livland. He died 17 February 1953 in Feldberg, Mecklenburg (Germany).
He married his first wife on 15 September 1917 in Tarutino in Bessarabia. She was Leonide Jundt (born October 22, 1889 in Bessarabia, died July 13, 1929 in Jamma, Ösel). He remarried on 14 September 1930 in Arensburg to Friederike Both (born March 8, 1890 in Riga).
He studied theology at the University of Dorpat (Estonia) and Greifswald (northeastern Germany). He was ordained on 26 December 1911 in Moscow and served the Volga German parish of Gnadenflur (1912-1913) before moving to the newly formed Lutheran parish in Dönhof where he served from 1914-1921.
He then moved to Germany and served parishes there:
Jamma, Ösel (1923-1939)
Gerzlow (1940-1945)
Feldberg, Mecklenburg (1945-1950)
He retired in 1950 and died in Feldberg in 1953.
