History
Blumenheim was founded as a kuhtor (farmstead) on the left bank of the Malyi Kushum River.
Today, what remains of the former Volga German settlement of Blumenheim is called Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star).
Church
The Gnadenflur parish served the needs of the Lutheran congregation in Blumenheim.
