History:
The Volga German khutor (farmstead) of Horn was located 7 kilometers southeast of the railroad station at Gmelinskaya.
Following the early Soviet collectivization era, Horn became the center of a large Collective Farm (No. 982).
Today, nothing remains of the former Volga German settlement of Horn.
Church:
Horn was founded by Volga German Lutherans. There was not a church in Horn.
