History:
Klein-Walter was a khutor (farmstead) located in a steep ravine about 14 kilometers west of Frank.
Today, nothing remains of the former Volga German settlement of Klein-Walter.
Church:
The colonists living in Klein-Walter were Lutheran. They were served by the pastor residing in Frank.
