Neu-Rosenheim was a khutor (farmstead) located about 26 kilometers southeast of Mariental. It is shown on Soviet maps of the area from the 1930s under the name Neu-Rosenheim. As of 1938, the name had been changed to Podstepinskii.
Today, nothing remains of the former Volga German settlement of Neu-Rosenheim.
Church:
There were no known religious structures in Neu-Rosenheim.
