History
Neu-Schwed was a farmstead (Khutor).
The following Volga German families were living in Neu-Schwed at the time of the 1941 Deportation:
Schäfer
They were deported along with the families from neighboring Emilianovka aboard Train No. 789 on 12 September 1941. They arrived in the Pavlodar Region of Kazakhstan on 19 September 1941.
