History:
Polevodino was a khutor (farmstead) located along the banks of the Bolshoy Karaman River. It was founded by Lutheran colonists (year unknown).
By 1910, there was a prayer house, a school, and a windmill in the khutor.
After the founding of the Volga German ASSR, Polevodino because an administrative center in the Fyedorovsky Canton. In 1935, it because part of the Gnadenflur Canton.
Church:
The colonists were Lutheran. There was a prayer house in the khutor of Polevodino.
