History:
Dubovka is a Russian town located just outside of the traditional Volga German territory, south of the colony of Dobrinka, on the right bank of the Volga River. It should not be confused with the much larger town of Dubovka located north of Volgograd.
After the arrival of the Volga Germans to this area of Russia in the 1760s, some families moved into the town of Dubovka.
