Johannes Fuldat, son of Johann Peter Fuldat, was born 12 May 1741; his godfather was also a Johannes Fuldat.
He and his wife Elisabeth (along with daughter Christina, age 1) immigrated to Russia arriving in Oranienbaum on 12 May 1766 aboard the Anna Catharina with Daniel Geier at the helm.
They arrived in the colony of Katharinenstadt on 5 March 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 90 (without daughter Christina who must have died before arrival).
There is a note on the census indicating that they moved to the colony of Holstein in 1768, but they are not recorded there in 1798.
