There are two Trippel families from Nieder-Eschbach that migrated to Russia. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Johannes Trippel was born in 1725 in Nieder-Eschbach, today a district in the city of Frankfurt (am Main). He married Ursula Bechtel who had been born in 1726.
They had five children, two of them baptized in the Evangelical Church of Ober-Eschbach, 18 kilometers north of Frankfurt am Main: (1) Heinrich, born in 1752; (2) Anna Katharina, born in 1754; (3) Maria Elisabetha, born 10 April 1757 and baptized on 12 April 1757; (4) Johann Christoph, born 29 January 1759 and baptized on 2 February 1759; and (5) Johann, born in 1761.
Johann Trippel, a farmer, his wife Ursula, and children (Johann, age 14; Anna, age 22; Elisabeth, age 11; Christoph, age 8; Johann, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard a ship named Der Junge Heinrich (The Young Henry) under the command of Skipper Heinrich Niemann.
Johann Trippel is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
The Johannes Trippel family arrived in the Volga German colony of Warenburg on 12 May 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 155.
In 1798, Johannes Trippel moved from Warenburg to Saratov.
Descendants of the Trippel family are still living in Warenburg at the time of 1798 Census in Households No. Wr37 and Wr54.
(2) Mattias Trippel, a beer brewer (Bierbrauer), his wife Anna Elisabeth Schmidt, and children (Johann Friedrich, age 13; Johannes, age 10; Elisabeth, age 6; Anna Katharina, age 9-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 25. They had arrived in Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1766.
Mattias Trippel, his wife Elisabeth née Schmidt, and children (Johann Friedrich, age 20; Johannes, age 17; Elisabeth, age 15; Katharina, age 9; Regina, age 6) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 27 along with a note that daughter Elisabeth married in 1778 to Johann Springer.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Trippel came from the German region of Hanau. Both the 1767 census and the 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register record that these Trippel families came from the German village of Nieder-Eschbach in the Hanau region.
