Michael Ziergiebel, son of Mathias & Barbara Zirnkibl [sic], was born in Rübling on 12 June 1667 and died 9 March 1726 in Brensbach. He married in Brensbach on 13 May 1690 to Anna Elisabetha Jung, daughter of Nicolaus Jung & Anna Trinkaus. Anna Elisabetha Jung had been born in Brensbach on 16 May 1670 and died there on 9 September 1741.

Michael Ziergiebel & Anna Elisabetha Jung had the following children, each born in Brensbach: (1) Jacob, born 21 July 1691; (2) Anna Justina, born 11 March 1696; (3) Anna Margaretha, baptized 26 December 1698; (4) Margaretha Elisabetha, baptized 18 January 1702, died 29 June 1703; (5) Johann Nicolaus, baptized 11 July 1704; (6) Margaretha Elisabetha, born 24 August 1707; (7) Anna Maria, baptized 9 May 1710; and (8) Johann Conrad, born 2 January 1713.

(A) Johann Nicolaus Zehrgiebel (baptized 1704) died 8 October 1762 in Groß-Bieberau. He married 10 June 1728 in Groß-Bieberau to Anna Elisabetha Becker who died 11 September 1740 in Groß-Bieberau. He remarried on 20 December 1740 to Elisabetha Rebecca Dörr, daughter of Georg Philipp Dörr & Anna Elisabetha Stork. Elisabeth Rebecca Dörr had been born 30 May 1713 in Groß-Bieberau and died there on 9 September 1775.

Johann Nicolaus Zehrgiebel & Anna Elisabetha Becker had the following children, each born in Groß-Bieberau: (1) Johann Leonhard, born 3 May 1729, died 25 May 1732; (2) Johann Philipp, born 16 February 1732; (3) Johannes, born 20 February 1735; and (4) Anna Eva, born 23 July 1738, died 20 October 1741.

Johann Nicolaus Zehrgiebel & Elisabetha Rebecca Dörr had the following children, each born in Groß-Bieberau: (1) Anna Elisabetha, born 11 August 1741, died 18 August 1741; (2) Elisabetha Rebecca, born 12 November 1742; (3) Philipp Heinrich, born 21 December 1744; (4) Elisabetha Margaretha, born in August 1747, died 7 May 1761; (5) Johann Philipp, born in August 1750; (6) Johann Georg, born 17 November 1753, died 3 October 1756; and (7) Georg Ludwig, born 8 April 1756.

Eliesabetha Rebecca Zirkübel from Groß Bibra [Groß-Bieberau] & Johann Adam Lebich [sic] from Groß Bibra [Groß-Bieberau] married on 4 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church in Büdigen. [See Liebich Family.]

(B) Johann Conrad Ziergiebel (born 1713) died 14 February 1788 in Brensbach. He 1st married Anna Margaretha Weber who died 24 December 1747. He 2nd married on 18 April 1748 to Eva Reeg who died 1 January 1778. He 3rd married on 28 April 1778 to Anna Susanna Made who died 19 September 1781. He 4th married on 9 April 1782 to Eva Barbara Hofmann who died 12 January 1822.

By his 1st wife Anna Margaretha Weber, Johann Conrad Ziergiebel had 3 children: (1) Eva Maria, born 5 June 1736 in Höchst, died 28 February 1743 in Brensbach; (2) Johannes, born 2 January 1743 in Brensbach, died 2 January 1743 in Brensbach; and (3) Johann Christoph, born 28 March 1744 in Brensbach.

Johann Christoph Zürckgiebel (born 1744) married Margaretha Elisabeth Blumenschein, daughter of Peter Blumenschein & Anna Margaretha Heist, on 19 June 1766 in Büdingen. Margaretha Elisabeth had been born 21 April 1734 in Unter-Ostern (Reichelsheim).

[Margaretha Eliesabetha Blumenschein had been married previously to Benedict Reh from Breitenbrun in the area of Erbach on 17 May 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen. He died 20 May 1766.]

Christoph Ziergibel, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the snow-brig Die Frau Dietrika under the command of Skipper Joachim Friedrich Luhn.

Christoph Zirgubel and his wife Margar. Elisab. are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

They settled in Yagodnya Polyana on 16 September 1767 and are recorded on the 1767 Census of Yagodnaya Polyana in Household No. 46.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christoph Ziergibel came from the German region of Erbach.

Heinrich Zürckgiebel and Johannes Zürckgiebel from Yagodnaya Polyana and their families are recorded on the 1857 census of Neu-Yagodnaya-Polyana.
