Biography
Father Alois Moritz was born 8 April 1738 in Tirol and died on 24 January 1805 in Mariental. He became a member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit Order) on 9 October 1757 and served as a missionary in China and Africa.
He served the Volga German parish of Mariental from 10 March 1803 to 24 January 1805.
