Pastor Julius Georg Philipp Schilling was born 27 April 1862 in Neu-Halbstadt (Molotschna Colonies).
Pastor Schilling was ordained in 1897 in Samara. [Some sources record his ordination on 6 July 1899.]
He served as the assistant pastor in the congregation in Krasnoyar in 1897; from 1898-1904 in Riebensdorf; from 1905-1919 in Glückstal (Odessa); and in Odessa from 1920-1932. After that he returned to Germany. He died 21 October 1947 in Dessau.
