Discussion & Documentation:

There are multiple Müller lines in Frank.

Johann Martin Müller was born 19 March 1746 in Bingenheim. His brother Lorenz Müller was born 29 November 1742 in Bingenheim. They were both sons of Johann Eberhard Müller and Elisabeth Catharina Walter.

Martin Müller, a single farmer, and his brother Lorenz arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.

Lorenz appears to have died prior to arrival in Frank.

Martin Müller and his wife settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25.

In 1792, Martin Müller and his family moved from Frank to Dreispitz.

Martin Müller and his daughters and their families are recorded on the 1798 census of Dreispitz in Dr42.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
