Discussion & Documentation

Johann Heinrich Weber was born 26 February 1749 in Oberklingen, the son of Johann Heinrich Weber and his wife Anna Catharina.

Johann Heinrich travelled to Russia as a single man, and appears on the same ship and and transport as his cousin Anna Maria Weber, daughter of Johann Heinrich Weber of Oberklingen and Elisabeth Christina Sophia Kroh of König.

Anna Maria travelled to Russia along with her first husband Johann Heinrich Röttger and their children. Johann Heinrich Röttger died during the trip, and Anna Maria married Michael Heimbüchner. They settled in Frank.

The Weber family can be traced back five generations to Johannes Weber, born about 1560 in Hering.
