Father Still, son of Michael Still, was born in 1893 in the Ekaterinoslav Province of Russia. He became a church organist before joining the Russian army. He served in the military from 1914-1917. He returned to a career as a parish organist serving several parishes in the Crimea.
He attended the Catholic Seminary in Saratov and was ordained in 1925. He served the parishes in Brabander and Urbach?. He was arrested 2 February 1930 along with a group of Catholic priests for anti-governmental activities. He was sentenced to 3 years in a labor camp and following his release was exiled to Siberia. His subsequent fate is unknown.
