Johannes Kloberdantz, son of Johann Reinhardt Kloberdantz, was born in Gettenbach, between Büdingen and Gelnhausen, on 22 March 1733. He married there on 16 November 1758 to Catharina. Their son Johann Conrad was born there on 18 April 1760 and baptized 21 April 1760. Gettenbach was part of the Gründau parish.
Johann[es] Kloberdanz, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and son Johann Konrad (age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 28 July 1766 aboard a Russian pink named Vologda [an historic Russian city] under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.
Johannes Kloberdanz (age 33), a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina (age 30), and sons (Konrad, age 7; Christopher, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 48. They had arrived in Norka on 15 August 1767.
Johannes Kloberdanz, his wife Katharina, and children (Konrad, age 14; Christoph, age 7; Katharina, age 3) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 51.
In 1834, Konrad Kloberdanz moved from Norka to Schwed.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Kloberdanz came from the German region of Isenburg.
