History
The khutor (farmstead) of Friedental was founded in 1871 southeast of Gmelinskaya on the Wiesenseite.
Today, nothing remains of this former Volga German settlement of Friedental.
Church
The colonists who settled in Friedental were Lutheran. There were no known religious structures in Friedental.
