Heinrich Neu, a single farmer, and his mother Anna Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 31.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Neu came from the German region of Isenburg.
