Kaspar Hill, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Elisabeth, age 20; Johann, age 14; Katharina, age 7; Anna, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 11 June 1766 aboard a galliot named Der Junge Mattias (The Young Mattias) under the command of Skipper David Wohlert.
Kaspar Hill, his wife Katharina, and children (Johannes, age 15; Katharina, age 8; Anna maria, age 6) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dönhof in Household No. 74. They had settled there on 18 June 1767.

Peter Hill, son of Kaspar Hill, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Dönhof in Household No. 86.
His daughter Elisabeth Hill is recorded on the 1798 census of Dönhof in Household No. Dh055.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Kaspar Hill came from the German region of Isenburg.
