Discussion & Documentation

There are multiple Müller lines in Frank.

It is believed that Conrad, Johann Daniel, and Anna Margaretha are children of Christoph Müller who died before reaching Russia.

Konrad Müller, a farmer, his wife Anna Dorothea [née Illingen], and his sister Anna Margaretha (age 18) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl along with Dielman [sic] Müller, a single farmer.

Conrad Müller, his wife Dorothea, his brother Joh. Daniel (age 20), and his sister Anna Margaretha (age 10) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

(1) Conrad Müller from Salzungen & Dorothea Illingen, daughter of Johann Georg Illingen from Salzungen, were married on 23 June 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Conrad Müller (age 26), his wife Anna Dorothea, and daughter Klara Elisabeth (age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Frank in Household No. 36.

(2) Anna Margaretha Müller (age 18) is recorded on the 1767 census of Frank in Household No. 36. She is recorded as Conrad's sister at the port of Oranienbaum, and daughter of the deceased Christoph Müller on the 1767 census.

(3) Dielmann [sic] Müller (age 20) is recorded on the 1767 census of Frank in Household No. 37. Daniel Müller is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Fk104.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that this Müller family came from the German region os Sachsen (Saxony).
