There are two Thomas families that settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 22 May 1767.
(1) Heinrich Thomas, a farmer, and his wife Maria Eva, are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 52.
(2) Konrad Thomas (age 5) and his widowed mother, Rosina - who had remarried Johann Georg Mühlhaus - are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 54.
The Heinrich Thomas family does not appear to have had any surviving male descendants. Following the destruction of the colony of Keller, Konrad Thomas and his mother resettled in the colony of Neu-Kolonie. Konrad's widow [having remarried and been widowed again] is recorded in Neu-Kolonie on the 1798 census in Household No. Nk42 along with her former mother-in-law, Rosina Mühlhaus. Konrad also does not appear to have had any surviving male descendants.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Thomas came from the German village of Gauersheim in the Kurpfalz.
