Jacob Jäger, a farmer, and his wife Maria Magdalena arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Jacob Jäger came from the German district of the Pfalz while the 1767 census records that he came from the Kurpfalz.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family.
