Andreas Hubert, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (David, age 16¼; Johann, age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard a ship named Die Perle under the command of Skipper Gerhardt Hermann Thomsen.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Moor on 15 January 1767. Andreas died and his widow remarried to Heinrich Hehn. They and the two Hubert sons are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Andreas Hubert came from the German region of the Pfalz.
