Andreas Hubert, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum  on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Moor on 15 January 1767. Andreas died and his widow remarried to Heinrich Hehn. They and the two Hubert sons are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Hubert came from the German region of the Pfalz.
