Johann Hermann Eberhardt, son of Johann Michael Eberhardt & Susanna Roth, was born on 3 August 1730 in Mauswinkel.

Johann Hermann married on 7 March 1761 in Mauswinkel to Susanna Eisenhut from Kirchbracht, daughter of Johannes Eisenhut & Anna Margaretha Steuernagel. She had been born 19 April 1739 in Kirchbracht.

They had sons born in Mauswinkel: (1) Johannes, born 24 December 1761, baptized 27 December 1761; and (2) Johann Peter, born 31 May 1763, baptized 5 June 1763.

Johann Hermann, his wife [Sus]Anna, and son Johann (age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Kronverk under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Ilyin.

Widow Susanna Eberhardt and her children (Johann Peter, age 5; Anna Maria, age ¾) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 101. They had arrived in Norka on 15 August 1767.

Peter Eberhardt and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr096.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that the Eberhardts came from the German region of Isenburg.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Eberhardt family among the Volga German colonies.
