Konrad Goury, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard a ship named Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 134 along with his [new] wife Susanna Margaretha.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Goury is a weaver while the 1767 census records that he is a craftsman (Handwerker).
Both document record that Konrad Goury came from the German region of Zweibrüken.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Goury family among the Volga German colonies.
