Widow Susanna Greis [sic] and her children (Johann Jakob, age 18; Maria Katharina, age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

Widow Susanna Elisabeth Gries and her children (Johann Jakob, age 19; Maria Katharina, age 18) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 33. They had settled there on 15 August 1767.

Susanna along with her son Jakob and his family are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 205.

The death of Jakob Griess in 1801 is recorded on the 1811 census of Norka in Household No. 217.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Susanna Elisabeth Gries came from the German district of Isenburg.
