Friedrich Holler, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the Russian galliot named Kronverk under the command of Lieutenant Dmitry Ilyin.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Friedrich Holler came from the German region of Bayreuth.
