Johannes Truschel, shepherd in the new castle (Schäfer im neuen Schloß) of Burgsinn, married on 15 October 1709 to Anna (Gertraud?) Becker.

Johann Daniel Truschel, son of Johannes Truschel & Anna (Gertraud?) Becker, and shepherd in the outer castle (Schäfer in dem euseren Schloß), married on 16 January 1733 to Anna Margaretha Roth, daughter of the school teacher (Schulmeister) in Mittelsinn.

Matheus Truschel, son of Johann Daniel Truschel & Anna Margaretha Roth, was born 9 December 1737. Matheus Druschel, shepherd in the new castle (Schäfer im neuen Schloß), married 11 October 1762 to Maria Elisabetha Sener from Oberndorf.

The parish register of Burgsinn records the baptism of a daughter born to Matheus Druschel & Maria Elisabetha Sener: Eva Elisabetha, born 13 September 1763.

Matheus Druschel remarried 7 April 1766 to Eva Maria Herold.

Martin [sic] Druzel, a farmer, his wife Eva, and daughter Elisabeth (age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 17 July 1766 aboard a pink named Lev (Lion) under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach and are recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Hs017 (under the name Mattias).

The death in 1804 of Mattias Druschel [sic] is recorded on the 1811 census of Hussenbach in Household No. 17. There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Martin Druzel came from the German region of Dienheim.
