Peter Biedenkopf, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughters (Anna, age 19; Katharina, age 14) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 20 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Catharina Eleonora under the command of Skipper Peter Rehder.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Walter on 25 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 47.
The 1767 census records that the Biedenkopf family came from the German village of Wildensee near Erbach.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Biedenkopf family among the Volga German colonies.
