August Fischer, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the hooker Anna Catharina under the Skipper Adolph Scharpenberg.
August died after arrival in Russia. The remaining members of the family settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767 and 11 August 1767. Sons Nikolaus and Kaspar are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 16.
Son Johann Heinrich and his new wife are recorded on the 1767 census of Keller in Household No. 56.
The 1767 census records that this Fischer family came from the German village of Kottenheim near Bassenheim.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Fischer family among the Volga German colonies.
