Kaspar Fischer, a farmer, his wife Maria, daughter Anna (age 1½), and his [brother-in-law] Anton [Rupp] (age 17½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a ship named Die Zwei Gebrüder (The Two Brothers) under the command of Skipper Nicolaus Peter Pinck.
Caspar Fischer and his wife Maria Margaretha along with Anton Rupp are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Kaspar Fischer (age 37), a farmer, and his wife Margaretha (age 25) are recorded on the 1767 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 77 along with the single man Anton Rupp (age 18). They had arrived in Ober-Monjou on 3 August 1767. [See Rupp Family.]
Johann Ernst Fischer (age 31), presumed son of Kaspar Fischer, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. Om26.
Maria Elisabeth Leiker née Fischer (age 18) and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. Om66.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Kaspar Fischer came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that Kaspar Fischer came from the German village of Oberwaldstedt in the Mainz region [possibly Ober-Wöllstadt which was in Kurmainz].
