Johannes Lehning, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and son Johann[es] (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.

Johannes Lehning, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and son Johannes (age 3) are recorded on the 1767 census of Brabander in Household No. 5. They had arrived ther on 13 August 1767.

Johannes Lehning and his sons are recorded on the 1811 census of Brabander in Household No. 7.

The death of Johannes Lehning in 1827 is recorded on the 1834 census of Brabander in Household No. 5.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johannes Lehning came from the German region of Fulda. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Michelsrombach in the Fulda region.
