Wogau

Georg Reichelt, a barber (Friseur), his wife Sophia Magdalena, and stepchildren (Sophia Dorothea [Wogau], age 16; Sigmund [Wogau], age 13; Christina Dorothea [Wogau], age 11; Karl Friedrich [Wogau], age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 11. They had arrived in Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1766. [See Reichelt Family.]

The 1776 Land Register of Katharinenstadt records that Georg Reichelt died in 1782. His widow is recorded there as Magdalena Sophia Lang, and she died in 1783.

Sigmund Wogau (age 22) and his wife Eleonora née Roth (age 21) are recorded on the Katharinenstadt 1776 Land Register in Household No. 11. The death of their son Georg on 24 August 1778 is also recorded on the 1776 Land Register of Katharinenstadt.

Widow Eleonora Wogau née Roth [widow of Sigmund] and her children are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household Ka005.

Sophia Faller née Wogau and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka008.

Christina Dorothea Köhler née Wogau and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka085.

The Movement Tables of the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt record that in 1798 Karl Friedrich Wogau left Katharinenstadt for an unidentified location.

The 1767 census records that Sigmund Wogau (age 13) came from the German village of Warenburg in Kloster Leichtstädte (?).
