Georg Ohlinger, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 16 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.
The 1767 census records that Georg Ohlinger came from the German region of Zweibrücken.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ohlinger family among the Volga German colonies.
