Peter Becker and his wife Marianna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard a koff named Alette under the command of Skipper Wybe Hendricks.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dehler on 26 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 24.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Becker was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a wagon builder (Wagenbauer).
The 1767 census records that Peter Becker came from the German village of Wdeges [?] in the region of Trier.
