Johann Pomerinke, a single cobbler (Schuhmacher), settled in the Volga German colony of Holstein on 24 June 1765. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45.

The 1767 census records that Johann Pomerinke came from the German village of Treptow.
