Peter Höfner, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Holstein on 26 May 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The 1767 census records that Peter Höfner came from the German village of Pomar [?] in Prussia.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Höfner family among the Volga German colonies.
