Discussion & Documentation
Widow Anna Margaretha Stripper, a farmer's wife, settled in the Volga German colony of Shcherbakovka on 15 June 1765. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 50.
The 1767 census records that Anna Margaretha Stripper came from the German village of Lagdanburg.
There to not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this family, so the surname does not continue among the Volga German colonies.
