Philipp Götz, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Households No. 72 (son Johann Heinrich) & 73 (father Philipp).
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Götz came from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that he came from the region of Büdingen.
