Andreas Jung from Heimersheim in the district of Altzey & Maria Margaretha Bichmann from Heppenheim were married on 5 April 1766 in the City Lutheran Church of Friedberg.
Andreas Jung, a teacher (Lehrer), and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna (The New Fortune) under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.
Andreas Jung is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Andreas Jung, a teacher (Lehrer), and his wife Maria Margaretha are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 138 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Kukkus in 1768. They had arrived in Warenburg on 12 May 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Jung came from the German region of Pfalz. The 1767 census records that Andreas Jung came from the German village of Tschernmerstein [?] in the region of Kurpfalz.
