Michael Fischer, a farmer, his wife Magdalena Barbara, and children (Magdalena Barbara, age 10; Johann Adam, age 7) settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 4.

Son Johann Adam Fischer and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Reinwald in Household No. Rw13 along with his widowed mother Magdalena.

The 1767 census records that Michael Fischer came from the German region of Rothenburg and that his wife Magdalena Barbara came from the German region of Württemberg.
