Discussion & Documentation

Katharina Schulz settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 27 July 1765. She is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19 along with her daughter and son-in-law, Johann Friedrich Pilz.

The 1767 census records that her daughter came from the German village of Trebanz in the Brandenburg region.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Schulz family, so the name does not continue among the Volga German colonies.
