Gustav Hirsch, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Anna, and daughter Anna Dorothea (age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census of Galka in Household No. 21. They had settled there on 1 July 1765.
The 1767 census records that Gustav Hirsch came from the region of Petersburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Hirsch family among the Volga German colonies.
