Karl Erbenson, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Galka on 18 November 1764. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

The 1767 census records that Karl Erbenson came from the German village of Friedrichsgabe.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
